Foothold Now

Add Foothold Now to your phone’s home screen

Foothold Now is a website, so there’s nothing to install and no app store to visit—but your phone can still give it a place on the home screen, right next to your apps. It takes about a minute.

On iPhone (Safari)

  1. Open grhs24.github.io in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button—the square with the arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll down the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Keep the name or shorten it, then tap Add.

On Android (Chrome)

  1. Open grhs24.github.io in Chrome.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap Add to Home screen (on some phones it says Install).
  4. Confirm with Add.

Either way, the Foothold Now icon lands on your home screen, and tapping it opens the site in your browser—with everything you’ve already built waiting for you, since your ladders live safely in that same browser.

One small tip: signed out, your ladders stay on the device they were made on. If you would like the same ladders on your phone and your computer, Sign in (top right) with your email and they will keep themselves in sync from then on. Either way the Backup button is always there for a belt-and-suspenders copy—download it to keep a copy safe, or to move your ladders to another device or browser yourself.
